Our mission is to empower students to take ownership over their learning through agency. Children inquire, question, wonder and theorize about themselves, others and the world around them. They are keen observers and explorers. Through their experiences and interactions, they naturally develop intricate, multi-layered perceptions and understandings. Throughout the PYP, a student is an agent for their own and others’ learning through the concept of learner agency. Learner agency is connected to self-efficacy and beliefs students have about their ability to progress in their learning.

Our Values
- Be Respectful: Treating everyone with kindness and consideration, valuing their thoughts and feelings, even if they are different from our own. Making sure everyone feels welcome and a part of our school community, celebrating our differences and valuing everyone's contributions. Showing empathy and understanding towards others, and taking action to help those in need.
- Be Responsible: Taking ownership of our actions and choices, being accountable for our learning, and contributing positively to our school and community. Being honest and doing the right thing, even when no one is watching. Taking care of our school and personal materials in all of our learning spaces.
- Be Ready to Learn: Come to school prepared for listening and learning. Using your time wisely in all learning spaces and during breaks. Following directions of adults to make sure that we can all stay safe at school.
